About

Clay Stamps – LeRoy Grubbs, I am a artist, a sculpture that throws clay.

These are the best brass stamps in the world. Check out the reviews on FB and IG #claystamps.

If you can donate a bowl for the Empty Bowls event in Nov. (www.emptybowls.com) you can get a free 1″ stamp.

This is a bronze sculpture from 2015 of a dancer. Caught in the moment of an idea, tried to make it out of clay. Approx. life size figurative replication of a dancer. There is another version and original in clay. Should be on display in a garden.

A favorite verse “I am the potter, Thou art the clay”.   Seeing the clay move and be transformed with consistent gentle pressure, parallels God’s interaction with me, as each piece of work is created.

My Life verse:   “When I am old and grey headed O God, forsake me not until I have shown thy power unto this generation and thy strength unto them that are to come.”

I was not always like this.   Once a long time ago I only did computers.   So there is still some visages of my past life like:

www.emptybowls.com, www.firegallery.art,  www.elroys.tv,  www.ssserv.com…   there are many more.   The Smart TV is the internet’s new frontier.

Yes, An artist that still does websites.

Things I’m infinitely thankful for:

1.)  I have ten children

2.)  Contributions to my life by So Many It is hard to even begin to make a list.

3.)  Todd Sholtz and John for passing on claystamps.com to me.   We are approaching 1 Million Hits on the website.   I’ve know Todd since 2006 or so through the local clay guild here in Kansas City.   Todd teaches classes there.   Truly a master potter in the community.   A while back I heard that Todd is the man to talk to about getting a signature stamp made to sign my potter with, so I asked about getting one too.   At that point Todd had sold claystamps.com to John for a sailboat a year or so earlier.   So I followed up with John to check out the possibilities.  John and I hit it off well and soon were talking about selling / buying claystamps.com.   I sold my truck to make up the difference that I had in hand for the transaction around 2015.

Please ask questions, I’m here to serve.

Sincerely;

LeRoy
